Description: Today is Ukraine's Independence Day. I want to say so much, but words fail me. All I know is that I will be forever grateful to a people who represent all the good we read about in books, who protect all of us from ultimate evil, and who sacrifice their best so the whole world can sleep soundly. There will never be enough 'thank yous' said. There will never be enough gratitude. To the true heroes of our time: I bow before you. My children will know your courage. My children will learn your language. I will be forever indebted to your free spirit, and until the day I die, I will never stop telling the world how much you did for all of us. My heart bleeds for you on this day. It bleeds blue and yellow.
