The Sun Sets Pins and Buttons
Description: The design features a detailed death's-head hawkmoth at the center with a small skull marking on its thorax. It hovers above a glowing sun setting behind a cluster of wild mushrooms. Fern fronds curve up both sides to frame the scene. At the bottom, a decorative banner displays the Latin phrase Sol Occidens in a classic typeface. The illustration uses fine, etched lines to create a woodcut style. The palette focuses on muted tones, keeping the mood grounded and somber. It is a symmetrical composition that highlights the connection between the moth and the natural world. This artwork leans into botanical and occult themes.
