Tony Curtis Pins and Buttons
Description: All aboard for classic comedy with this fantastic cinematic pop art portrait. Featuring the legendary actor in his iconic yachting cap, the black and white line art reflects a colorful vintage train car filled with jazz instruments. It is a perfect homage to one of the funniest films ever made.
Description: The Persuaders design celebrates the classic 70's action comedy TV show starring Roger Moore and Tony Curtis. A classic 'odd couple' tale, Moore played the upper class sophisticate Lord Brett Rupert George Robert Andrew Sinclair, while Curtis was the rags to riches to rags product of the slums of New York City. The Persuaders was produced by the legendary Sir Lew Grade.
Description: All cities are geological. You can’t take three steps without encountering ghosts bearing all the prestige of their legends. We move within a closed landscape whose landmarks constantly draw us toward the past. Certain shifting angles, certain receding perspectives, allow us to glimpse original conceptions of space, but this vision remains fragmentary. It must be sought in the magical locales of fairy tales and surrealist writings: castles, endless walls, little forgotten bars, mammoth caverns, casino mirrors.
Description: Before Jack Lemmon & Tony Curtis in “Some Like It Hot” & Robin Williams in “Mrs Doubtfire” on cross dressing, these two were the early ones in this scene from a famous musical film. Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye lip sync and cross dress on the song, “Sisters” before departure to Vermont. Once you see them perform, they won’t be a pair called the Blue Peacock Sisters.....
