True North Winter began with one of my original acrylic paintings honouring the landscape of Northern Ontario, and the many glorious works by such notable Canadians as Norval Morriseau, The Group of Seven, and Ted Harrison. Once imported onto the computer, I finessed it with digital filters, editing software, and digital paints. The result is an expressionistic northern landscape in winter.
