Description: The Radiant Radish was a health food store located at the corner of Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood, California, from 1969 to 1970, offering up a wide range of vitamins and supplements along with healthy food staples and fresh produce. It was managed by Brian Wilson, his cousin Steve Korthoff, and friend Arny Geller. Arny's father-in-law, Jack Brooks, owner of Brooks Health Foods who was the shop's nutritional consultant. Despite being a multimillionaire rock star with a penchant for seclusion, Brian actually worked in the store, sometimes while wearing a bathrobe, and would later say that his favorite part about owning the shop was running the cash register. The Radiant Radish closed on July 29, 1970.
