Description: This design evolved into a really fun gay pride design. I started out just drawing a banana, then decided it should be sliced to make the image more interesting. But I still wanted the image to "pop" more. At the same time I had in my mind, the brilliant fact, that Gay marriage is now legal in the USA, and in many other cool countries. So I used the colors of the LGBQT freedom flag to add detail to the slices. When it was done I suddenly realized that two of these bananas would form a heart shape. So there you have it, no master plan, but a fun, gay pride design came out of it.

Description: LET'S LEAVE - „Mindshots“ is a series of universally understandable illustrations created to convey my personal thoughts and current questions by graphic means. It addresses aspects of modern and daily life, such as cyberbullying, digitalization, communication, and love, in a stylistically reduced manner. The original imagery shifts in color from black to grey to red, and is sometimes critical, at times ironic, and at times humorous. This illustration you see here found its way here because it is one of the most liked and discussed on various channels. For more „Mindshots“ check instagram.com/maivisto.
