A brief beam of sunshine lit up the spectacular horns on this Scimitar Horned Oryx. These Oryx have been hunted into extinction in the wild - for those horns - but Werribee Open Range Zoo in Victoria, Australia, has this small breeding herd.

Last visit to Werribee Open Range Zoo for this year! As always, some animals stayed too far from the Safari bus to get a good shot - and others were closer!
