All the way along Melaleuca Creek are amazing reflections of the creek bank and the exposed roots of the Melaleuca forest. Tasmania, Australia. It is somewhat difficult to discern where the water meets the land. The patterns remind one of some indigenous Aboriginal art work. Canon 6D, zoom lens. (Featured in Nature's Paintbrush.)

METISSAGE is a hymn to diversity, tolerance, the beauty of colors and cultures, and even more so to their sublime and infinite mixtures, the crossbreeding of races, cultures and people.

A renovated town house in a street in the Massarelos district of Porto which was once very popular in the 19th century. Interesting how the Portuguese always seeem to really polish up their windows so the light reflects really strongly.

Completed in 1521 and a survivor of the great earthquake of 1755, the Torre de Belém stands near the mouth of the Tagus river, part of the protection system for Lisbon and also a ceremonial gateway to the city.

Silbury Hill is the largest man-made mound in Europe and dates from around 2400BC. Supposedly it is roughly the same volume to Egyptian Pyramids. This photo is taken from the north.

A horrible fire has terribly damaged Notre Dame. More than just a church, Notre Dame is a part of all of humanity’s culture. We cannot just sit around and do nothing.
