China - Many Hand Make Light Work Posters and Art Prints

The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is located in the central part of the Eurasian Continent, on the northwest border of China. It covers about one-sixth of China’s total territory and only a tiny fraction of the land area in contains is suitable for human habitation. The region is on the silk road that has been used for trade for centuries. Where we are visiting is on the one point where Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and China meet. The local people are nomads and are skilled horsemen. This image shows a ceremony that was performed for us in their ceremonial costumes.
