Bridge Across The Feshie Posters and Art Prints

If you follow the river Feshie upstream into the Cairngorms, this was the last bridge you came to. Just beyond the river is braided, breaking into a myriad channels separated by banks of bleached shingle. Either side old Scots pines stood majestically in open grassland in what for me is a magical place. When I last saw the bridge it was rather wonky, and a sign read to cross at your own risk. On foot it seemed OK but I wouldn't have wanted to take a vehicle over. Anyway, the last I heard was that it got washed away when the river was in spate a couple of years later. I've painted this version in oil on a 20x8 inch board, using my photos for reference, adding a little more emphasis to the wonkiness!
