This is my interpretation of a sugar (also known as Dia de los Muertos or day of the dead) skull. I wanted to keep a traditional feel to the decorations, but with my own little twist. The name of this work, is an homage to one of my closest online friends, who is a massive inspiration and a generally lovely person. Photoshop was used to create this work. Before you is a fictional creature whose body parts are taken from various extinct animals. Most of these animals have died out recently. With this work, I wanted to show the importance of preserving the life of animals that are currently on the verge of extinction.
