For this new project, I wanted to focus and base the artwork on all my favourite media. Favourite shows, movies, games, characters etc. Anything that relates to my likes and passions outside of art. Taking an iconic character or prop from the subject in question, I have merged them with a variety of flowers as I feel like that's my signature as an artist. Using simple but with added detail line drawings, I have boosted the image with a selection of bright colours to bring them to life. Here I have put the spotlight on The Evil Dead.

This design is inspired by the T-shirt print of the character Mia Allen from the game Evil Dead. This T-shirt is the perfect gift for fans of zombie shooter games, friends, dad, mom, son, daughter, geeks, gamers, streamers, cosplayers, freaks, friends, family, sister, brother, uncles, aunts, boys, girls or anyone who loves horror games.

Chainsaw Cat

To honor all of my favorite monsters of movieland I've been knocking out these pulp inspired monster heads. The Necronomicon Ex Mortis, the book of the dead, bound in human flesh and inked in blood. Come on, has there ever been a cooler book ever? Ash wants it. The Deadites want it. Now you want it!!!

Inspired by Evil Dead's Ash Williams and his Boomstick and Chainsaw, this design features his iconic quote. Enjoy and swallow this!

I based my composition on the iconic cabin, the car and of course the demonic possessions themselves. Using a few reference images from the film, I managed to work together this composition and set to work painting it. Because it's a horror piece and should reflect the hand crafted aesthetic of the movie, I worked quite rough on a lot of this painting, going for a more expressionist take than my usual approach. I'm very satisfied with the final piece and especially with the title treatment added to the piece, I think it works really well as a retro horror poster that would fit nicely to the original marketing.
