Since last year I have been trying to photograph this little fella... the silver studded blue butterfly ~ often found on heathland where the silvery-blue wings of the males provide a marvellous sight as they fly low over the heather... but not this little fella no... I found him flying about in our local park in Caernarfon - so a very nice find, very nice find indeed..! Section 42 species of principal importance under the NERC Act in Wales. As such - even more reason of importance to not cut the grass until summer has finished and all the blossom and bloom and biodiversity has had a chance to do its thing..! There - I think I said it... AGAIN !

It's going to be cold and grey, but I hope to be able to give you some happy, sunny feelings with the little chrysanthemum.

Whilst I was making this image I couldn't get the tune of Groovy Kind of Love out of my head, it starts with the line, "When I'm Feeling Blue" which became the title of the image. I felt it fit the picture because one of the hyacinth macaws looks as though he is comforting the other one. I blended the photo which was taken in Chester Zoo and some of my textures together in Photoshop and topaz.
