Not only is Bertha the most famous elephant in the Indian Elephant Bathing Pool, she is also skilled in her after hours activities. After years of bringing the beats to the Jungle Pool Party, she is now doing sets at a local night club, Sam’s Place. She’s definitely the only DJ who ever scratches the vinyl with their nose.

We wanted to show that Jungle Cruise Skippers have a heart. I, for example, have multiple ones, in jars... under my bed. But, enough about my weekend hobbies. We know that the heart of a Skipper beats with pure passion, amazing adventure, and silky sarcasm.

Somehow it's been 10 years since we launched our podcast, and we've had people asking if we were going to create any shirts for it. (Answer: yes) So, here's one of two beauties celebrating that we've made it 10 years with 3.5 million downloads and a ton of episodes...

The FOOH celebrates the brotherhood of Jungle Skippers from across the world. From Anaheim, Orlando, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, these amazing Skips have been delivering passengers and humor for 60+ years, and the Order is a support organization making sure that the Skips know they are never alone..

Now, I don't know much about animals... Ok, I know nearly nothing about animals. But when I go to the zoo, there's one thing I do know. They call these ones, "Stripey Horseys"... (This shirt is in homage to the Jungle Cruise's very famous Stripey Horseys, who have been hanging out on the Veldt for a very long time... and yet few Skippers seem to be able to figure out what they really are...)

We "Heart" hippos. As Jungle Cruise Skippers, we work with Hippos on a daily basis, and what isn't to love about them? From the way they playfully blow bubbles and wiggle their ears, to the playful way they charge the boats, knocking them over and spilling the precious cargo and passengers to the depths of the river. Adorable! We even have to playfully shoot into the air to scare them away. So much fun!

To a Jungle Cruise Skipper, there's nothing like the feeling when you step into a bote. (Sure, some people call it a boat, but we know how to spell it.) It's a magical feeling, where you feel utterly comfortable to be yourself, and you know that you belong. In other words... home.

Based on the adorable Tikis in Disney World/Disneyland's Adventurelands. I did them in a more streamlined mid-century style.

There's a lot of misconception about the misspellings of "Bote" that are out there. Some people even think there is an "A" in it. (I guess there is... "A bote") But, Jungle Skippers of modern generations know their vehicles of choice by this 4 letter name. So, I could give you a nice long explanation of why the Skippers of Disney's Jungle Cruise ride spell it "Bote" when so many other people spell it "Boat". But, it's a long and boring story, with a lot of historical call backs to the 1970's and 80's... So, instead, I'll tell you that the primary people who are probably looking at this shirt are the Skippers and fans of the ride, because they were probably linked here because of the Jungle Crews podcast, the oral history of Disney's Jungle Cruise ride. Hundreds of hours of really great stories of an incredibly fun job that was loved by all.

Skipper Jay Sabicer's contribution to the Skipper Store is this lovely Hippo Crossing sign that would fit in perfectly to the rivers of adventure. Too bad the Skipper's shot was so bad

We hear that in the depths of the Amazon, there's a Jungle Skipper who is willing to risk the highest perils for the sake of taking his passengers up the river. Skipper Frank is certainly one of a kind, and he's definitely going to be a legend.
