I used to obssessed into drawing scenery illustrations like this piece, vivid blue sky on top ben nevis munro mountain.

Exact recreation of the T shirt as worn by New Zealander Burt Munro at Bonneville Speed week in 1967 where he set an under-1,000 cc world record world record for motorcycles on his highly modified 1920 Indian Scout. The record still stands to this day, a testament to Munro's incredible ingenuity and engineering talent that he developed over years in his garden shed in Invercargill New Zealand.

This is a repaint of a view I first painted back in 1996 showing the view from the summit of An Caisteal in the Scottish Highlands. The prominent peaks in the mist are Ben Oss and Ben Lui with nearby peaks. The day I climbed An Caisteal via Twistin Hill was a bit of an atmospheric winters day - shrouded in hill fog at first but clearing to be sunny by the time I got down again. But on the summit, the mist gave the snow capped mountains a pink tinge. I've painted this in oil on board 20x16 inches in size

This panoramic painting comes from one of my many trips to the Cairngorms to climb the Munros. On this occasion I mountain biked to the start of Glen Derry and followed trails through the remnants of the Caledonian forest, before breaking out onto the hill (Beinn Bhreac). This view comes at the start of that climb, where the trees and grass give way to heather slopes. On the left is Derry Cairngorm, and the peak in the distance with the 'barns' (local name for isolated outcrops of rock) is Beinn Mheadhoin - both on Munro's list of Scottish peaks. Painted from my original photographs using oil on board 24x12 inches in size.
