Federal Falls is one of the more accessible waterfalls falling into a sandy area so that you can capture it from lots of different angles. This is Federal Falls south of Lawson in the Blue Mountains National Park in Australia. It is a fairly short walk along the track to get to this spot. With all our wet weather & not having done a walk since the last weekend in January, I was determined to get out on saturday despite the gamble with weather. Leaving Sydney in heavy rain I was hoping that the predicted possible thunderstorm in the Blue Mountains wouldn't happen or otherwise I might get in & get out before it eventuated. The majestic Belmore Falls in the Morton National Park near Robertson in the Southern Highlands of NSW, Australia. This lookout is a short walk on the track from the carpark.
