Description: Anika Nilles (born 29 May 1983) is a German drummer, composer, and musical educator. She launched her career on YouTube during the early 2010s, and has released three full-length albums to date, all with backing band Nevell: Pikalar (2017), For a Colorful Soul (2020) and False Truth (2025). On 6 October 2025, Nilles was announced as the drummer for Rush's 2026 reunion tour.
Description: Geddy used to have his amps behind him, but then he started just plugging his bass into the PA system so there was this huge empty space behind him. One night the roadies decided to just put random stuff behind him, and it was funny and the fans loved it; so they started doing it from then on. They chose washing machines for the Vapor Trails tour.
Description: Video Invasion was located at 3500 Bathurst Street in North York, roughly between Wilson and Lawrence. It was operating by the early 1980s and became one of Toronto's prominent arcades. Contemporary sources describe it as a particularly clean, bright arcade with a large selection of games. The owner was Wayne Fromm, and the arcade became much more than simply a place to play video games. Fromm was deeply involved in the Canadian coin-operated amusement business. A 1988 trade publication identifies him as president of Video Invasion Arcades of Canada. Rush filmed part of the 1982/83 music video for “Subdivisions” inside Video Invasion. The arcade footage wasn't a movie set—it was the actual arcade at 3500 Bathurst.
