Manetheren (Translated from the Old Tongue as Mountain Home) was one of the Ten Nations which arose from the ashes of the Breaking of the World. It was destroyed circa 1200 AB amidst the upheavals of the Trolloc Wars.

One of the two banners carried by Perrin's men, the other being the Red Wolfhead Banner. It was the same as that of ancient Manetheren. It was used by Perrin in Altara to distract from his real intentions. Perrin put aside it when he reached an alliance with the Seanchan.
