I find the wharf so inviting I want to walk onto it's rough planks barefoot and jump into the water. But wait, I can not swim!!! Ladram Bay Number of views as of 7th February 2018 = 330. The red, sandstone cliffs at Ladram Bay (between Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth) are typical of this stretch of the South Devon coast. Behind the bay is High Peak (top left), and below it lie Hern Point and Big Picket Rocks. Ladram Bay is the site of Devon's 2nd largest holiday park opened in 1950. Date: 30th August 2012.

Rockham Bay & Bull Point, North Devon Number of views as of 23rd January 2018 = 610. Along the South West Coast path between Woolacombe and Ilfracombe (North Devon, England). This stretch runs from Morte Point near the attractive village of Mortehoe to the lighthouse at Bull Point and then eastwards towards Ilfracombe. Date: 14th September 2013.

Bug Lighthouse Portland Maine by Debra Martz It was a cloudy, windy, and rather cold day but that atmosphere added to the overall mood of this image of Bug Light aka South Portland Breakwater Light. The lighthouse was originally built in 1855, as a wooden structure, replaced with a classical iron structure in 1875. The light was fully restored in 1989 and was reactivated in 2002. It appears as a private aid to navigation in the US Coast Guard Light List as South Portland Breakwater Light. Construction of the fortress in the distance was started around 1858. By the time it was finished in 1864, the manner in which it was built was obsolete. ©Debra Martz, All Rights Reserved

I knew it was going to be a good morning when we arrived at Cape Byron Lighthouse 20 minutes before sunrise and the clouds already looked like this! It was incredible luck getting such a good sky on my first sunrise visit to the lighthouse as well.

HDR long exposure night image of the South Bay at Scarborough, North Yorkshire (UK)

I captured the reference photo for Moonta Jetty while standing on the jetty of Moonta Bay. The green waters contrasted with the rustic wood of the jetty. You can imagine standing on the jetty casting a line or being mesmerised by the water below.

A father and son chance the incoming tide to go fishing at Snapper Rocks as waves rebound off the rocks and crash into one another.
