Description: Marsha P. Johnson (August 24, 1945 – July 6, 1992) was an American gay liberation activist and self-identified drag queen. Known as an outspoken advocate for gay rights, Johnson was one of the prominent figures in the Stonewall uprising of 1969. A founding member of the Gay Liberation Front, Johnson co-founded the gay and transvestite advocacy organization S.T.A.R. (Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries), alongside close friend Sylvia Rivera. From 1987 through 1992, Johnson was an AIDS activist with ACT UP. Shortly after the 1992 pride parade, Johnson's body was discovered floating in the Hudson River. #PrideMonth

Description: Dump Trump: An American Stain — The artwork of a distressed American flag distorted by dripping red paint, creating an unsettling effect that suggests deterioration or bleeding. The stark black field of stars and red and white stripes are melting downward, while the text "ONLY THE BEST PEOPLE?" is positioned beneath, questioning promises of qualified leadership. The artistic technique of using drips and splatter marks creates a sense of decay or instability. This visual metaphor appears to reflect the concerns you've expressed about agency appointments and administrative challenges affecting government function and public safety.
