Harbour Beach at Tenby, a walled seaside town in Pembrokeshire, south Wales coast on the western side of Carmarthen Bay. Colourful buildings line the shore above the cliffs overlooking the harbour as the bay curves towards North Beach.

Down in the harbour at Tenby a row of kiosks sell boat trips to Caldey Island, for fishing, or just for fun. This glimpse of life is easily missed as the colourful buildings view for attention. Painted in oil on a 20x8 inch board.

I was staying in Tenby looking for things to photograph for my paintings when I spotted this bright yellow building - so bright that it lit up the alley, and even the far wall which was in shadow. Coupled with a glimpse of the harbour at the end of the passage, I thought this would be good to paint one day. And today I got round to it - painted in oil on a 12x16 inch board

Waiting For the Tide In Tenby Harbour The stunning fishing town of Tenby in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. Even though the tide is out, and the boats are not bobbing about on the water, this is still a wonderful and lovely place to visit. The huge colourful town houses look down towards the fishing boats in this seaside town within Carmarthen Bay.

Tenby is a harbour town and resort in southwest Wales. It’s known for its 13th-century town walls and its stretches of sandy shoreline, including Castle Beach.

Tenby, Wales, Boat There is no disputing where this boat is from. The big Welsh flag on the Bow of this fishing boat gives a huge clue. This big red boat stood out among the smaller and less colorful boats by it's side. The boat is overlooked by the colourful town houses that surround the harbour of this amazing town on the South West coast of Wales. Tenby Town Houses I just had a spare couple of hours, so I painstakingly used Photoshop to Selectively Colour the houses back in to this lovely black and white print. Tenby Black And White The clouds on this photograph are so defined, I thought best to convert this image to black and white to accentuate the sky, which will make for a great and very challenging jigsaw puzzle. This stunning town in South Wales was our favourite place to visit, and we went twice in our one week on our holidays.
