Retro 1970's Laurel Canyon print, celebrating the hills outside of L.A that were home to the best of American folk and rock music throughout the sixties and seventies. Featuring a stylised jasmine flower, the perfume that ran through the canyon, as with many other 'natural' odours... If it had of been available at the time, you would have found this on a T shirt at the Laurel Canyon Country Store in 1967 ready for the summer of love.. Looks pretty right-on over a background of purple haze or afghan brown ..

The phrase originated in an episode of the British television comedy series The Young Ones. The episode, entitled "Cash", was first broadcast in 1984. The segment of dialogue, where Neil is composing a letter to his bank manager to request a loan, is as follows; Neil: I know, why not "Boomshanka"? It means, "May the seed of your loin be fruitful in the belly of your woman." Mike: He'll never understand "Boomshanka". You'll have to write the whole thing out. Neil: Right, okay, here we go. "Darling Fascist Bullyboy: Give me some more money, you bastard. May the seed of your loin be fruitful in the belly of your woman, Neil."
