Zeller Posters and Art Prints

One of my playful fish paintings, which I used to do a lot of before I started to realize that more people like cats than fish.

Acrylics on canvas 36 cm by 28 cm . I did this about a year ago, and had it in our recent exhibition. Happy to report that it has found a home. One of my students mentioned that she had wanted to buy a painting for her sister in law as a gift. When I brought this out to show her, knowing she loved pelicans, she said she loved it and wanted to buy it. Not bad for a little painting I did very quickly in a painting class.

I did this a while back - just a spontaneous sketch done in black waterproof ink pen, with watercolour wash over top, wet on wet. I rather like this way of painting, fast and loose. I think I found my style...: )

This was fun to paint. It was inspired by many things, including warm summer days and visits to various local beaches, around Port Philip Bay. I have always loved the colourful work of Ken Done, and he has been an influence. I suppose all the nudies in this come from my new found love of life drawing. This is Acrylics on canvas, 100 cm x 75 cm. The city skyline is loosely based on Melbourne skyline.

This is a Prismacolour drawing on black paper. Something I did for myself, based on an exercise in a book. This is kind of a dreamscape, also relates to power animals. I was happy to sell it at some point when I needed the money, but would have liked to keep it too. Yeah, I know, I have to learn to let go. Can't keep them all. LOL

Mixed media - something I did a few years back, which turned out to be one of my most faved. SOLD

This is the first Tiger Abstract I did. Done in mixed media on watercolour paper. This was an early version of Tiger Abstract, which I gave to good friends in Canada. Then I decided to do another one for me, but ended up giving it to my brother. Years later I did a large Acrylic version. My son ended up with that one. Tiger Abstract II is my second most faved on deviantart. Recently my friends sent me a high res image of this one, so I figured I might see how it looks on red bubble.

I have recently decided to rework an older watercolour painting to give it more depth, and make it more interesting. Obviously that was a good idea, because it just sold to a collector. I sell my original work on Bluethumb.
