3 Wheeler Shorts
Description: Throughout the 80s there was a 3-wheeler craze and they were a common sight most anywhere dirt bikes were ridden. Despite their popularity with adults and kids alike, they all suffered from a few nasty traits. Most commonly, riders who are used to a bicycle or motorcycle would most likely lean the wrong way in a turn, put their leg out for balance, and then run over their leg. The second biggest issue was their ability to tip in canted situations as again, their center of gravity and overall dynamic didn't quite behave as one might expect them to. Nonetheless, they were a blast to ride and if you didn't break a bone or die, you probably have fond memories of tearing it up on one.

Description: The Tyrrell P34 commonly known as the "six-wheeler", was a Formula One race car designed by Derek Gardner, Tyrrell's chief designer. The car used four specially manufactured 10-inch diameter (254 mm) wheels and tyres at the front, with two ordinary-sized wheels at the back. Along with the Brabham BT46B "fancar" developed in 1978, the six-wheeled Tyrrell was one of the most radical entries ever to succeed in F1 competition and has been called the most recognisable design in the history of world motorsports.

Description: By the late 1960s, custom chopper culture was getting increasingly wild, and three-wheeled choppers — or chopper trikes — fit right into the anything-goes spirit of the era. Builders combined stretched motorcycle frames, radically raked forks, tall sissy bars, ape-hanger handlebars, and custom tanks with rear axles often adapted from small automobiles. Typically powered by American V-twins or air-cooled car engines, these homemade machines traded traditional motorcycle handling for outrageous looks and plenty of attitude. Candy paint, metalflake, chrome, extended forks, tufted king-and-queen seats, and fat rear tires turned trikes into rolling expressions of the emerging biker counterculture.
Description: A wild ride through the golden age of custom wheels. This retro-inspired 1969 graphic turns a three-wheel chopper into the star of a psychedelic roadside poster, mixing long forks, chrome machinery, vintage typography, and old-school Americana into one seriously groovy ride.
