Description: Smokey and the Bandit II is a 1980 American action comedy film sequel to 1977's Smokey and the Bandit. In this one, it's been a few years since Bo "Bandit" Darville and Cledus "Snowman" Snow made their famous 28-hour run from Atlanta to Texarkana and back with 400 cases of bootleg beer. We find that Bandit is now a washed-up has-been living in the past, until Big Enos and Little Enos make him another offer: Transport a live Elephant across country in 3 days or less. Despite receiving almost completely negative reviews from critics who felt that it suffered badly in comparison to the original, Smokey and the Bandit II grossed $10,883,835 in its opening weekend, the second highest ever at the time, and also set a record for an opening week.
Description: Over the Top is a 1987 film that follows Lincoln Hawk, a truck driver and famed arm wrestler, who, for unexplained reasons, walked out on his wife and child years ago. His wife, who is in the hospital, asks Lincoln to pick up their son Michael from his military boarding school to see her before her surgery. At first, Michael and Lincoln are like oil and water, but the pair gradually bond on the road trip home. Upon arrival, however, they learn that mom has died, and his grandfather is fighting for custody, citing Lincoln's inability to provide for the boy. Lincoln decides to put all his money on the line in a Vegas arm wrestling showdown. Hawk Hauling is Lincoln's trucking company, which is really just him and his old, busted truck.

Description: Maximum Overdrive is a 1986 American horror film theatrically released on July 25, 1986, to both critical and commercial failure. The story takes place after a comet-induced radiation storm on Earth causes machines to come to life and turn against their makers on a worldwide killing spree. Holed up in a North Carolina truck stop, a group of survivors must fend for themselves against the mechanized killers. A diner cook, Bill Robinson, emerges as the unlikely leader of the pack, attempting to find an escape plan for himself and the survivors, who include his boss, Bubba Hendershot, and a newlywed couple. Despite being a box office flop, the film went on to become a cult classic and maintains a solid fan base for its mindless destruction.
