Description: Altered Carbon is an American cyberpunk web television series created by Laeta Kalogridis and based on the 2002 novel of the same title by English author Richard K. Morgan. In a world where consciousness can be transferred to different bodies, Takeshi Kovacs, a former soldier turned investigator, must solve a murder. The first season consists of ten episodes and premiered on Netflix on February 2, 2018. On July 27, 2018, the series was renewed for a second season of eight episodes, which was released on February 27, 2020, with an anime film set between the first two seasons releasing March 19, 2020. The series received generally positive reviews.
Description: Set in a future in which interstellar travel is effected by transferring consciousnesses between bodies ("sleeves"), Altered Carbon follows the attempt of Takeshi Kovacs, a former U.N. elite soldier turned private investigator, to investigate a rich man's death for him. This Altered Carbon design includes the title and "no body lives forever" tagline set in Japanese Kanji along with the iconic helix mark. This version is a nice, clean look, but I've also got a vintage version with plenty of wear and tear if that's your thing.

Morgan's cyberpunk noir novel of the same name.
