Alternative Art Shorts
Description: A quirky, vintage-inspired artwork featuring a massive green cartoon lizard lounging casually while holding a red-and-white-striped beverage. The lizard’s yellow claws and sly grin add playful menace, as its long tail wraps around the text “Big Lizard in My Backyard” in bold red letters. The background features a muted yellow sky and a simple suburban fence, contrasting the absurdity of the giant reptile. This punk rock–themed design reflects The Dead Milkmen’s satirical and humorous style, perfectly capturing the offbeat energy of their 1985 debut album.
Description: A must-have for fans of the Cincinnati legends. This striking black and white fan art tribute to The Afghan Whigs features a gritty crow silhouette perched on the band's iconic typography. Capturing the "Indie Sleaze" and "Punk Grunge" aesthetics trending for 2026, it perfectly embodies the raw, soulful intensity of Greg Dulli's legendary songwriting. Celebrate 40 years of noir rock!
