Description: I was very thankful of the thick pane of glass that separated me from this beautiful leopard at a zoo in Tenerife. Unfortunately his enclosure wasn't very picturesque so I replaced the background with one of my leafy textures and edited it in CS6 with a blending texture overlay.

Description: The Snow Leopard lives in the mountains of Central Asia. Snow leopards prefer the broken terrain of cliffs, rocky outcrops, and ravines. This type of habitat provides good cover and clear views to help them find prey, and sneak up on it. There are only about 3,920 and 6,390 snow leopards left in the wild. They are threatened by Poaching of the cats as well as their main prey animals, limiting their resources. This has been pushing them to prey on livestock and has caused more conflict between the beautiful cats and the local people.
