Description: This striking digital oil painting captures the historic grandeur of the Ellen Clarke Bertrand Library at Bucknell University. Rendered in a bold, textured impasto style with thick, expressive brushstrokes, the artwork prominently features the library's iconic clock tower and Colonial Revival brick facade. Billowing dynamically in the background is a stylized American flag emblazoned with "USA," adding a powerful patriotic energy to the composition. Framed by bold, varsity-style typography reading "Bucknell University" and "Bertrand Library," this vibrant graphic seamlessly blends academic heritage with classic Americana art.
Description: Collage based on the idea that a teapot might be flying in space. “Nobody can prove that there is not between the Earth and Mars a china teapot revolving in an elliptical orbit, but nobody thinks this sufficiently likely to be taken into account in practice.” Bertrand Russell.
Description: Bertrand Russell was a master of logic and philosophy, and I wanted to reflect his rational and thought-provoking mindset in this design. His quote, "Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion...", speaks to every critical thinker and free spirit. I set it against a warm, vintage oil-painted backdrop, evoking the intellectual salons of the early 20th century. His authentic signature completes this elegant tribute, perfect for philosophy lovers, rational thinkers, and those who challenge convention.
Description: Bertrand du Guesclin is considered as the best of the knights in service of France during Hundred Years' War and maybe during whole middle ages. Known as the “The Eagle of Brittany” and “The Black Dog of Brocéliande” Bertrand du Guesclin proved time after time his skill as a warrior and leader. His life of adventures started when he was 18 and run away – despite his father's bans – to a tournament in Rennes, where he borrowed armor and defeated twelve knights. His exploits – like fighting with twenty comrades against two thousand enemies – became legendary. Rightly so.
Description: Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time - Marthe Troly-Cartin This is a quote sometimes mis attributed to john lennon, bertrand russell, laurence peter, and t. s. elliot (ts elliot). The saying has been around for a long time and will probably be here for much longer. Words mean something and these words are pretty meaningful to me and hopefully to you to.
