Description: "Between You & Me" is a large abstract work on Stonehenge paper. This was one of the final works I created with wax pastels and took a break from art shortly(2010). Uploading the work, I must have really been trying to process ways to communicate better. Not only that, it felt(at that time) I was putting my trust into to wrong people. It is something that happens to all of us. It's how we learn, mature and learn to grow.
Description: “Gertie, the street seer, was a friend of my mom’s and older than my parents… She wasn’t a typical witch in a cottage though, but I was only sixty percent she didn’t eat children. She was covered in tattoos, her white hair in dreads, and she filled out an A-shirt with more assertion than I did.” -find The Space Between You and Me at www.campsite.bio/ashleybdavis
