Bikinis Shorts
Description: A Sunny Place for Shady People. Tropical weather. Blue skies and white clouds. Beaches with surf & sand. What more could you ask for? With all this sunshine.... there's bound to be shade. And who's hanging out there? Shady People. Not a bad thing per se. But it is part of the culture. Get your Sun. Get your tan. Watch your moral compass.
Description: Joi Lansing does the song The Silencers, from the movie of the same name with Dean Martin. The scopitone starts out with her singing about .22s and .38s and then she pulls a gun out on the audience. A moment later she puts it in her pocket, takes off her trenchcoat and shows off her REAL secret weapon. Some obligatory bikini dancing in this one. From an original "table tent" design. Scopitone S-1053. Scopitones are music films made for a video jukebox in the 1960s. There were over 70 American ones produced and hundreds of European ones, featuring well-known artists of the time.
Description: January Jones sings That Old Gang of Mine. Wow. Really? You know we can't go on a trip to the cemetery just to dig up your old friends. She sings about giving up her furs, diamonds and pearls to see that old gang one more time but says nothing about bikinis. BIKINIS, bikinis, bikinis! From an original "table tent" design. Scopitone S-1015. Scopitones are music films made for a video jukebox in the 1960s. There were over 70 American ones produced and hundreds of European ones, featuring well-known artists of the time.
Description: Betty Clair sings Scopitone Party. It looks like fun! Everyone is dancing and wearing bikinis.... and singing in French. A retro design; so far as I know there was never a table tent for scopitone CA-205. Scopitones are music films made for a video jukebox in the 1960s. There were over 70 American ones produced and hundreds of European ones, featuring well-known artists of the time.
