Black Skimmer Shorts

Description: This is my watercolor of a black skimmer bird with a chick that I was inspired to paint after seeing a flock of black skimmers nesting on the island where I was vacationing at Navarre Beach, FL. A black skimmer with a striking red beak stands beside a small chick in a grassy area near water. The sky is lightly clouded, adding a serene atmosphere to the scene.
