Bonbeach Bait Boutique is the completely fictional bayside establishment treating fishing bait with the dignity usually reserved for artisan cheese and wines you pretend to understand. Expect hand-selected worms, premium prawns, boutique presentation and tasting notes such as “earthy, wriggly, with a clean finish.” Because apparently chucking a worm on a hook wasn’t complicated enough. Cool fact: earthworms don’t have lungs, they breathe through their skin, which needs to remain moist for oxygen to pass through. Presumably this also contributes to the mouthfeel.
