Description: The No Name Restaurant was founded by Nick Contos in 1917 as a seafood stand meant to serve the fisherman who worked along Boston’s Fish Pier. He never named the restaurant, and while the space evolved and grew over the years, a proper name was never bestowed upon the business, hence how it became simply known as the 'No Name' for more than a century before suddenly closing up shop in 2019.

Built in the 1890s, the school sought to educate the inmates with a variety of work which included farming, garment manufacturing and a print shop.
