Description: Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, also known simply as Chalmun's Cantina, or as the Mos Eisley Cantina, was a drinking and dining establishment located in the city of Mos Eisley on the desert world of Tatooine. Although a dimly lit tavern known for frequent outbreaks of violence, it was a popular stopping point for pilots, smugglers, bounty hunters, alien misfits, and renegades.
Description: Mos Eisley was a spaceport on the desert planet of Tatooine. It was located on the Great Mesra Plateau, north of Anchorhead, and southeast of the Jundland Wastes. The spaceport, while lacking a primary landing facility, contained 362 hangars in which arrivals could berth. The city had wide, sandy streets and many buildings of various sizes. Mos Eisley was home to various species of aliens from throughout the galaxy.
Description: "Fiery" Figrin D'an was a male Bith musician who played the Kloo horn as frontman and leader of the band Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes. He was the brother of Barquin D'an. A male Bith born on the species' homeworld of Bith, Figrin D'an proved to have a fine aptitude for music and high manual dexterity for playing a range of instruments, and became the bandleader and organizer of the all-Bith band Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes. D'an favored the Kloo horn, although could also play a mean Gasan string drum. He proved overbearing and compulsive to his band-mates, although the Modal Nodes earned a reputable standing in the music industry, and achieved reasonable success on the galactic circuit.
