Description: Eight hundred kilometres east of the New Zealand mainland, in the world's first timezone, sit the Chatham Islands — Te Whanga — home to one of the world's most dramatic conservation stories, one of the Pacific's most spectacular endemic flowers, and a population of permanent residents who have chosen the edge of the world as their address and consider it the correct choice. This botanical heritage illustration brings together the Myosotidium hortensia — the Chatham Island forget-me-not — and the black robin, and frames them both exactly where they belong.
