This version features the distinctive eye shape as seen from The Wheel in Space, The Invasion and Revenge of the Cybermen helmet from the classic Patrick Troughton and Tom Baker eras. And also the new series in Rise of the Cybermen/ Age of Steel, Army of Ghosts, Next Doctor, Nightmare in Silver, Dark Water/ Death in Heaven during the David Tennant, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi incarnations.

This version features the return of the original cloth face from The Tenth Planet mask from William Hartnell's final story which returned in Peter Capaldi’s era World Enough and Time and The Doctor Falls. It is is slightly different shape to the 1966 one.
