Description: Colourful pen and ink animal illustration of a blue poison dart frog. The blue poison dart frog (Dendrobates tinctorius "azureus") is a striking species of dart frog in the Dendrobatidae family. These frogs are found in southern Suriname in South America and have bright azure blue bodies which are patterned with black spots. Each frog has unique spotted markings. I created this drawing by hand using ink in a stippling, or dot work technique. I then added a pop of colour using alcohol markers.
Description: Black and white pen and ink animal illustration of a red-headed poison dart frog. The red-headed poison dart frog (Ranitomeya fantastica) is a vulnerable species of dart frog in the Dendrobatidae family. These frogs are found in tropical rainforests in Peru and have blue patterned bodies with a vibrant orange red head. I created this drawing by hand using ink in a stippling, or dot work technique.
