Devil Car Shorts
Description: Just as it had with the Road Runner in 1968, Plymouth hit a muscle car home run in 1970 with the budget-priced Duster 340. The formula for the 1970 Plymouth Duster 340 was familiar. Take a cheap-to-produce platform, in this case, a Valiant wearing a new fastback body, and treat it to a hot engine, here Mopar's respected 340-CID four-barrel V-8. The determined little Duster was lighter, roomier, and faster than the 340 'Cuda. With a base price of just $2,547, it was the lowest-priced car in Plymouth's Rapid Transit System. And it was the only one with front disc brakes standard.
Description: The perfect design for the ultimate Mopar enthusiast born in January! Featuring the iconic Mopar logo with a cool ripped-metal effect, this design celebrates muscle car passion and birthday pride. Whether you're a fan of Dodge, Chrysler, or Plymouth, show off your January grit and automotive soul. Great gift for dads, husbands, or any real man who lives for the roar of a HEMI engine.
Description: When the Dart was introduced in 1960, it wasn’t intended as a premium performance car. In fact, the idea of a muscle car had yet to be pitched and the Dart was simply a new budget model, though it would eventually get several performance and appearance packages like the Swinger and GTS. In 1971, the Dart received yet another package offering by way of the Demon and Demon 340. But the Demon series wasn’t just another Dart trim level. The aptly named Demon 340 was packing a 340ci V8 featured a hot cam, hydraulic lifters, and a 10.5:1 compression ratio and although it wasn’t of the big block variety like many competitors were equipping their vehicles with, it certainly gave any competitor a run for its money.
Description: When you think of race engine builders, the Texas border town of El Paso is probably not at the top of your list of places to find one, but Red Devil Machine would have you rethinking that. Description: Inspired by a vintage devil license plate ornament, this comic-style illustration captures the mischievous grin, glowing green eyes, and weathered character that made these classic automotive accessories so memorable. Perfect for T-shirts, hoodies, posters, and home décor, it's a nostalgic tribute to mid-century car culture and vintage Halloween style.
Description: Red Devil Racing Fuels were formulated in Los Angeles, exclusively with gasoline product out of the El Segundo Refinery from genuine California crude. With advertising that played on variations of 'hotter than hell,' their smoking devil was a common sight around the west coast drag strips, both on fuel drums and decals on drag racers. While others made various octanes, Red Devil only made their 110 high test which was known to be a good 5 octane higher than stated, something that would come back to bite them a few years down the road.
