Drag On Shorts
Description: Most longtime drag racing fans are familiar with the ultra-swoopy Wonder Wagon Vega that he debuted at the 1973 U.S. Nationals, and some may even remember that the sponsorship program actually began with a completely different team at the end of the 1972 season. The Wonder Wagon was one of the most popular funny cars ever fielded amongst fans, but it’s driver frequently stated that it was the most dangerous too, mainly due to the car’s aerodynamics, or lack thereof. Dangerous or not, the cars and the sponsor was something different, and these bread truck inspired wagons really resonated with race fans.
Description: The Vega was an American subcompact automobile that was made from 1970 to 1977. Available in two-door hatchback, notchback, wagon, and sedan delivery body styles, all models were powered by an inline four-cylinder engine with a lightweight, aluminum block. While Vegas initially sold well, they were plagued with quality issues throughout the model's seven-year life. On the upside, these cars became plentiful on the secondary market and after hot rodders realized they could easily fit a small block V8 into them, muscle Vegas began terrorizing the streets and strip.
Description: The title "What We Choose to Drag" describes a surreal artwork in monochrome. It features a headless man wearing a hat, dragging a wooden chair along a beach. The sky above is filled with birds, creating a mysterious and dreamlike atmosphere. This artwork explores themes of burden, isolation, and the surreal blending of the ordinary and the fantastical. Ideal for lovers of thought-provoking, imaginative art with minimalist tones.
Description: A fun seasonal themed graphic shows the text "OH CHRISTMAS TREE" stacked twice, with the first instance in red and the second in green. Below is a modified drag racing tree of lights showing red, yellow, and green lights. The text "PLEASE DON'T TURN RED ON ME" is at the bottom.
