" Glad to present you my new T-Shirt design - DRAKKAR I tried to convey my admiration for the stubbornness and courage of the Northern People, who were not afraid challenged the stormy seas surrounding them and were able to win this battle! And, despite the fact that they made their long journeys, all the way to the shores of North America , on ships called - Knörr, exactly the image of the warship - Drakkar - inspired me to create this work.

Description: The Drakkar or dragon-ship (from Drage meaning Dragon and Kar meaning ship), was the largest of the Viking longships. Of clinker built construction, the longship was a low, sturdy, long, narrow, open galley with high stems and sterns with up to 40 oarsmen per side.
