Eagle Rays Shorts
Description: This is my mixed media with watercolor, acrylic and ink painting of some spotted eagle rays. This painting is part of my Florida Watercolor Collection. Three spotted eagle rays glide gracefully through a wavy, blue background, evoking a sense of movement and tranquility. Their dark bodies are covered in white speckles, creating a striking contrast against the lighter backdrop.
Description: A circular emblem in gold and black showing an eagle with outstretched wings in the center, with sun rays above it, holding some wheat and leaves in its talons. The circle reads, "RESURGENT" at the top, the year "1847" on the left and "1865" on the right, and at the bottom curve "ATLANTA, GA".
Description: The design features a stylized rendition of an eagle perched on the back of a blue running horse. Above them, the text "250 YEARS OF FREEDOM" is written. Rays of red and white light are emanating from the central figures. At the bottom, the text "EST. 1776" is displayed between two stars.
Description: Batoidea is a superorder of cartilaginous fishes, commonly known as rays. They and their close relatives, the sharks, comprise the subclass Elasmobranchii. Rays are the largest group of cartilaginous fishes, with well over 600 species in 26 families. Rays are distinguished by their flattened bodies, enlarged pectoral fins that are fused to the head, and gill slits that are placed on their ventral surfaces.
