Engraved by Johann Georg Klinger, the plate illustrates the lifecycle of the sloe emperor moth (Saturnia spini, noted as Pavonia media), featuring male and female adult moths, juvenile and adult caterpillars feeding on a twig, a cocoon, and pupae. Date: 1786
