Florida City Shorts
Description: Kongfrontation was a ride at the Universal Studios Florida theme park, in Orlando, Florida, the main attraction in the park's New York section. It opened as one of the original attractions at the park on June 7, 1990 and was closed on September 8, 2002; Revenge of the Mummy opened in its place on May 21, 2004. Kongfrontation was based on the 1976 King Kong film and King Kong Encounter, an extinct attraction on the long running Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Description: A circular emblem featuring a black silhouette of a sea turtle in the center. The background inside the circle is a watercolor wash with vibrant colors including yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and green. The text "PANAMA CITY BEACH" curves around the top perimeter, and "FLORIDA" curves around the bottom, separated by small stars. A black outline encloses the entire design.
