For Pro Strong Union Workers Shorts
Description: Be proud to be a "union thug". Without labor unions, there would be no weekends, minimum wage, paid vacation, 8 hour workdays, social security, pensions, child labor laws, sick leave, overtime pay, work breaks, maternity leave, and more of the labor rights people now take for granted.
Description: Labor unions represent United States workers in many industries recognized under US labor law since the 1935 enactment of the National Labor Relations Act. Their activity today centers on collective bargaining over wages, benefits, and working conditions for their membership, and on representing their members in disputes with management over violations of contract provisions. Larger trade unions also typically engage in lobbying activities and electioneering at the state and federal level. This '70s era design proudly states that "it's all ours!" as workers stand before the extended hand of management passing them the keys.
Description: Embrace the spirit of solidarity and honor the legacy of labor unions with this powerful and thought-provoking design! Proudly display how union strong you are. This design serves as a reminder of the resilience and strength that have shaped the labor movement throughout history. Stand strong, embrace your inner "Union Thug," and stand in solidarity with the timeless cause of labor unions.
Description: The Bread and Roses Strike of 1911 is an inspirational piece of labor history in the USA. The phrase "Bread and Roses" was used from the suffregette and labor movements of the early 1900's and represents the fight for not only enough compensation to survive on but also to have rest, recreation, and opportunities to grow in life.
