Four Months Shorts
Description: There comes a point when a pile of unfinished errands stops feeling temporary and becomes part of the household infrastructure. What began as a task waiting for a convenient moment develops its own reality. Days turn into weeks, weeks become months, and the object remains exactly where it was placed, gaining the mysterious status of “I’ll deal with that soon.” Eventually, moving it feels strangely wrong because it has become visually integrated into the space. Visitors may assume it is furniture, storage, or an intentional design choice. Meanwhile, you’ve developed an impressive ability to walk past it without acknowledging its existence. At some point, removing it would feel less like tidying and more like demolishing a historic landmark.
