Description: A powerful Christian Memento Mori design featuring a distressed, cracked skull with a small cross on its forehead. Encircling the skull is the profound scripture from Genesis 3:19: 'Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return.' This design blends vintage aesthetics with deep spiritual reflection, making it ideal for Ash Wednesday, the Lenten season, or daily reminders of faith and mortality.
Description: The majestic words of Genesis chapter 1, verse 3 ring true across the ages. I designed this piece using the polygon tool in Photoshop to create the stars, and the background. The font is the Viner Hand ITC (but edited to my tastes). I painted everything using a warm yellow-red palette, in a style that reminds me a bit of 1950s style advertising art.
