Grant Wood Shorts
Description: American Gothic is a 1930 painting by Grant Wood in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago. He was inspired to paint what is now known as the American Gothic House in Eldon, Iowa, along with "the kind of people [he] fancied should live in that house". It depicts a farmer standing beside his daughter – often mistakenly assumed to be his wife.[1][2] The painting is named for the house's architectural style.

Description: The American Gothic is a legendary painting of painter Grant Wood, whose work depicts the creepy rural life of the American Midwest. Gothic art and literature, which originated in medieval Europe, is characterized by a focus on darker themes such as death, decay, and the supernatural. Nowadays, we encounter many dark themed news. The newspaper's gothic character and redrawing of Grant Wood gothic painting are indicated the dark side of modern age.
