Description: The Late Hojo clan (後北条), or Odawara Hojo was one of the most powerful warrior clans in Japan in the Sengoku period and held domains primarily in the Kantō region, but they were not related to the earlier Hojo clan who controlled the hereditary title of shikken of the Kamakura shogunate. This is the kamon (family crest) of the Hojo clan, Mitsuuroko (三つ鱗) or “three scales”. Below the crest is “Hojo” in kanji.
