Hyena Art Shorts
Description: Hyenas or hyaenas are feliform carnivoran mammals belonging to the family Hyaenidae /haɪˈɛnɪdiː/. With just four extant species (each in its own genus), it is the fourth-smallest family in the order Carnivora and one of the smallest in the class Mammalia. Despite their low diversity, hyenas are unique and vital components of most African ecosystems.

Description: This bold and thought-provoking design explores the duality of perception and power through the striking image of a hyena. Split between two contrasting halves, the artwork reveals a polished, composed exterior on one side and a chaotic, feral predator on the other. This visual contrast reflects a deeper commentary on social and corporate structures—where appearances can be deceiving, and underestimated figures often hold the most power. The hyena, often misjudged and mocked in popular culture, is reimagined here as a symbol of cunning intelligence and dominance. The accompanying quote reinforces this idea, suggesting that those dismissed or ridiculed may, in fact, be the most formidable forces within competitive environments.
